Looking for company information? A quick glance at the Library’s resources
With the recent addition of FAME to our collection of databases, you can now access online a wide range of company information resources.
FAME, with its financial, organisational and officer details on 2.6 million Irish and UK companies, is now our main source in the field.
However, you might want to take a look at other resources available through the Library:
Factfinder – Companies information: archives of annual reports for Irish public and semi-state companies;
Business Source Premier – Company Profiles: Datamonitor reports on 5,000 large international companies;
Global Market Information Database: company profiles are available in this primarily market research-orientated tool;
Business & Company Resource Center: news, information and profiles on international companies; and
Kompass: contact details for 2 million companies worldwide and some basic information on officers and accounts.
